When these THP-1 differentiated cells were subsequently treated with oxidized low density lipoprotein (Ox-LDL), it was observed that RNASE2 (ribonuclease, RNase A family, 2) expressed low. At the end of fourth day of treatment with Ox-LDL the expression of RNASE2 was decreased by 5.33-folds when compared with control.
