Red-fluorescence, due to cy3-conjugated secondary antibody, clearly stained the nucleoli within the nucleus. Green fluorescence, due to expression of the transfected fusion construct, exhibited a strict colocalization in heat-shocked cells providing evidence for the nucleolus being the compartment for Mdg1 accumulation during stress (Fig. 7). We then studied whether nucleolar-associated Mdg1 protein could be reexported into the cytosol under recovery conditions. To test this, heat-shocked transfected HeLa cells were allowed to recover at 37 degrees C for 1 and 3 h. The stress-induced translocation of Mdg1 into the nucleoli proved to be reversible within 3 h (Fig. 8), indicating that the localization and transport of Mdg1 is actively controlled by the cell. Furthermore, we compared the cellular localization" } ], "http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#wasQuotedFrom" : [ { "@id" : "http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11525638" } ] }, { "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY#_5", "http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label" : [ { "@value" : "Selventa" } ] }, { "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY#assertion", "http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#hadPrimarySource" : [ { "@id" : "http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11525638" } ], "http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#wasDerivedFrom" : [ { "@id" : "http://resource.belframework.org/belframework/1.0/knowledge/large_corpus.bel" }, { "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY#_4" } ] } ], "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY#provenance" }, { "@graph" : [ { "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY", "http://purl.org/dc/terms/created" : [ { "@type" : "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime", "@value" : "2014-07-03T14:29:57.987+02:00" } ], "http://purl.org/pav/createdBy" : [ { "@id" : "http://orcid.org/0000-0001-6818-334X" }, { "@id" : "http://orcid.org/0000-0002-1267-0234" } ] } ], "@id" : "http://www.tkuhn.ch/bel2nanopub/RAP2GDculaDEVn31A9GxaPJgCBsxyNaOZY5Cf_eDjNKtY#pubinfo" } ]
