This peptide blocks the LDV-binding site for CS-1 FN on VLA-4 (43). As shown in Fig. 14, monocyte adhesion to LOTG EC was decreased by 50% in the presence of the CS-1 FN blocking peptide. Use of a blocking antibody to VCAM-1 (44) also reduced adhesion by 30% (Fig. 14).
